カナさん！昨日は案内してくれてありがとう。
👩My pleasure, Henry. Ready for the tour ? Don’t tell me you’re wearing safety shoes !
どういたしまして、ヘンリーさん。見学の準備はできましたか？まさか安全靴を履いているんじゃないですよね！
👨Oh, wait, is this overkill ?
え、ちょっと待って、これってやり過ぎですか？
👩I guess, but no worries. This is the lobby. We’ve lined up all the important cars in Iroha’s history.
そうかもしれませんが、ご心配なく。ここがロビーで、いろはの歴史上重要な車がずらりと並んでいます。
👨This is amazing ! Vintage cars, racecars too ! Rally, Le Mans… Did Iroha ever have a crack at Formula 1 ?

👩No, there’s another Japanese auto maker that flies the flag for Japan — they actually won the championship last year.

上司が間近で監視していると、緊張するものです。
カナはヘンリーに、オフィスを案内します。
👩So, I’ll now be showing you through the offices. This is the development sector — all engine, battery, and EV-related technologies are developed here.
では、これからオフィスをご案内します。ここは開発部門で、エンジンやバッテリー、EV関連の技術はすべてここで開発されています。
👩We have another facility in Yokohama responsible for other areas of research.
横浜にも別の施設があり、ほかの分野の研究を担っています。
👨Wow, so tidy. Does nobody personalize their desk in Japan? No family photos or small plants?
わあ、とても整然としていますね。日本では誰も自分のデスクをカスタマイズしないのでしょうか？家族の写真や小さな植物を飾ったりしないのですか？
👩I think it depends on workplace. Some people sure do !
職場によると思います。確かに、そうしている人もいますね！
👨Hmm. Oh, I see this division gives everyone a cubicle !

👩Yeah, open offices, free addresses ? We don’t go for that anymore. Some studies say people get more work done when they have a private space !
