👨 I’m glad to see you’re all mingling well with your new colleagues, but I’d like to take this opportunity to introduce two outstanding employees to you.
皆さんが新しい仲間と歓談しているのを見てうれしく思います。でもせっかくの機会ですので、ここで2人の優秀な社員を紹介させてください。
👨This is Miyata Kana from our Tokyo office, and this is Henry Jones from our Dallas office.
東京オフィスの宮田カナさんと、ダラスオフィスのヘンリー・ジョーンズさんです。
👨Kana and Henry were appointed as project leaders for the start-up of this plant. Their contributions have been enormous.
カナさんとヘンリーさんは、この工場の立ち上げのプロジェクト責任者に任命され、非常に大きな貢献をしてくれました。
👨They have done a professional job in all aspects. Disagreements occurred almost on a daily basis between Tokyo, Dallas, and Chennai, but they resolved them one by one in a positive manner.
2人はあらゆる面でプロフェッショナルな仕事をしてくれました。東京とダラス、そしてチェンナイとの間では、毎日のように意見の食い違いがありましたが、それを1つ1つ前向きに解決していったのです。

マイヤー社長、ありがとうございます。マディヤ ワナッカム（こんにちは）！東京から来た佳那です。
👩The Chinese character for “ka” has the connotation of “respectable,” while “na” means “beautiful,” so I’ll do my best to live up to my name.
漢字の「佳」には「立派な」、「那」には「美しい」という意味合いがあるので、名前に恥じないように頑張りたいと思います。
👩Your enthusiasm and patience during the test run enabled us to move things forward. So thank you. I wish you every success. Over to you, Henry.

👨Thanks, Kana. Hi, everyone! I’m Henry from Texas. I think when people hear the word Texas, they think of cowboys, but in that sense, I’m probably the least Texan guy from my office!

👨The merger gave us new opportunities to broaden our activities. Chennai is certainly one of them, and I can’t wait to see the first Indian-made Iroha-Romano cars taking the world by storm!
