👳We’d love to. India has always been eyed by the globe as an attractive destination to do business, and Tamil Nadu has experienced spectacular growth in the three decades since India liberalized its economy in 1991.
もちろんですとも。インドは常に魅力的な投資先として世界から注目されていますが、タミル・ナドゥ州は1991年にインドが経済を自由化して以降、30年間で目覚ましい成長を遂げました。
👳Chennai is the capital of the automobile industry, known as the “Detroit of India, ” and is home to major automobile companies. The region has tremendous prestige as a global hub for automotive component manufacturers.
チェンナイは「インドのデトロイト」と呼ばれる自動車産業の中心地で、各大手自動車会社の本拠地となっています。自動車部品メーカーの世界的な拠点として、非常に高いステータスを誇っている地域です。

👳The main driver is well-developed infrastructure. Look at this map here. We have an excellent road and rail network alongside seven airports.
主な原動力は、しっかり整備されたインフラです。こちらの地図を見てください。道路や鉄道のネットワークが充実していますし、7つの空港もあります。
👳The state’s coastline is around 1,000km, dotted by four major ports. Thanks to its geographic advantages, Tamil Nadu has become a powerhouse for logistics and exports.
州の海岸線は約1,000kmで、4つの主要港が点在しています。地理的な優位性のおかげで、タミル・ナドゥ州は物流や輸出の一大拠点となったのです。

👩I understand that infrastructure has contributed to the development of Chennai’s automobile industry, but what was the trigger for all this ? Why Chennai ?
チェンナイの自動車産業の発展にはインフラが寄与しているとわかりましたが、そもそもの契機となったのは何だったのですか？ なぜチェンナイなのでしょうか？
👳I was coming to that point. We think the trigger was the investment of a Korean automobile company in the late 1990s. This led to other automobile and auto-component companies setting up shop in the region.

🔑I tend to insert too many sentences in one slide. Your idea of replacing them with pie-charts and graphs has made it visibly easier to follow and more professional in appearance.
私は1枚のスライドに文章を詰め込みすぎる傾向があります。それを、円グラフや棒グラフに置き換えていただいたおかげで、より見やすく、よりプロフェッショナルな印象のものになりました。

🔑I’ve also noticed that the color and layout have been adjusted for the history session. Now, the Iroha part looks consistent with the Romano part. Thanks !
